Activation Start Message - Sprint 8330

Hello:
I have had my 8330 for a week now.
I noticed when I when I send a call for Sprint customer service (*2) that I am getting an "Activation Start" message on the screen. This transitions into "Activating" during the call. Finally, when the call ends, a message window of "Activation is Unsuccessful!" displays.
Does anyone have a possible explanation or solution for this? I tried re-provisioning the device, resending the service books and a battery pull. This is more of a nuisance than anything and does not affect service.
