a little annoyed its not free. Both the G1 Version(pretty sure) and the iphone version are completely free.

By the way it notes that, you will still have limited functionality if you do not pay the free but it did not specify what constitutes limited functionality verus full.

Anyone know if Amazon will be adding music download service to the bb. They would definitely make money off me if they can integretate it w/ Shazam and Pandora and ota downloads.

Installed this morning and works great!

I would prefer to see it FREE like the others as well, however will be willing to pay the $4.99 after the 60 day trial period is up I am sure.

I get an error!!...The error message reads:

"Shazam needs to record to your phone. Please set the permissions on your phone to allow recording.........error#1204"

Maybe I'm not the most tech savvy person, but how would I go abouts allowing my berry in recording????

Yes everyone I know had the same issue.

Just go to "Settings > Security" and under Shazzam allow all the settings and it will work!

When you installed the app, it should have prompted about permissions needing changed and you would have to approve or allow those changes. Did you do that?

You can go to Option > Advanced Options > Applications, highlight Shazam, press the menu key and select edit permissions.

I would try to remove the app and then install it again.

Installed easily from the new App World, easy to use.

Missed a Boz Scaggs song the first time ("What Can I Say") but got it on a second try.

Had no clue about an obscure band (Cafe Jacques), but then no one else knows about them either.

Did not have to do anything special to make it run, no permission changes, etc.

I can't find Shazam on AppWorld on my Verizon Storm. Any ideas?
I've tried searching and going into the Music category, but no luck.

Also, there was a Last.fm app there yesterday (which wouldnt install) and today it's gone.

I've even gone so far as to update appworld to the latest ..27 version.

Shazam appears on the site but when I go to Blackberry App World, it does not appear anywhere, I do a search "no results found." I go back to the web site and send a link directly to my BB but the link that I get is to download Blackberry App World not shazam, whats up?
