Question Synch problem

Please Login to Remove!

I just moved to a Bold from a 7130 I had for 3 years. I installed the new desktop manager and all went well. I set up the desktop for synch with my Outlook for calendar, contacts, tasks and memos.

When I synchronize now it does the addresses fine but brings up a whole lot of conflicts in calendar. When I accept he default (suggested) solution for them all it continues but then shuts down with an "unexpected error" message. None of my calendar items have been synched in either direction.

I unintalled and reinstalled the BB software but am experiencing the same problem.

Any suggestions?

I have to assume that you have DM properly configured to sync calendar info?

Are there any blank or corrupt entries? Does the error log shed any light on the problem?

Make sure you are connecting the BB via a direct USB port, not a HUB.

Try pulling the battery on the BB for about 30 seconds and see if it will sync.

Try DM 4.6 or 4.7.

Do a complete uninstall of what you have now. Reinstall with antivirus turned off.

Default conflicting entries

I spent a couple of hours working on the lack of claendar synch problem today. I had to remove every conflicting appointment from my BB. I had over 40 of them. I had just been choosing the default when each of the conflicts was presented. Now that I have removed them all I am synching again.
