Now that's a good question - David?

I just ordered my 7130e to replace my Nokia 6585 (great phone, lousy battery) and Dell Axim (syncs well w/Lotus Notes and plenty fun for games, but two devices are bulky to carry around) - Woohoo - another BB convert.

But then, I digress. I was pretty much sold on either a Naztech Ultima H5 or gizmoskin lambskin case (both with swivel clip) and came upon this thread.

Question:
Being new to the BB lifestyle, and coming from a leather case lifestyle with my other devices, what are the advantages of the Seidio 7130e swivel clip holster over the other devices? The gizmoskin has the sleeper magnet, is almost twice the price, but is oh so nice (nothing like the touch and smell of leather). Thoughts??

Thanks for the input.

I've had mine for a couple days now and it seems to be working well. It's not a perfect fit with the extended battery but overall works well.

My main complaint with Seidio in general is that my order was placed on the 12th at 8:00 in the morning. I chose overnight shipping which basically doubled the cost of the order. The problem arose when they didn't fill the order until Tuesday and I received on Wednesday. So much for the overnight option. I sent an email but have not yet received a response.

Thumbs up

I have had my holster now for over three months and wear it everyday. Often in rugged conditions. To include a couple of tussles with the bad guys. This holster is incredible! It is very sturdy and one handed use is a breeze. The best part is that when you secure your BB in the hoilster it stays there. The durability and security is top notch. We deployed several hundred BBs with a variety of holsters and this one held up the best.

I just received my Seidio 7130e holster from BBerry.Com and the sleeper function does not work. I have contacted the retailer about the problem.

I got mine this week and I've been very happy with it. Ironically, no sooner did I read about the bumper thing than the bumper fell off and I had to put it back. Someone mentioned something about the sleeper function. I had mine set to turn off and turn back on. It did but was hung with the verizon screen. I had to do a hard reboot (take the batter out and put it back in) in order to get it back up. Was this the problem? On a related note....if I lock the phone, it will not recieve calls at all. Again, is this related?
Thanks!

I have to say I hate mine. It is bigger and bulkier then necessary. Now vzw just released one that is perfect but it sucks that there is no magnet in the new vzw one so no sleeper....The sedio one I have it just doesn't always stay in you have to make sure the clip goes all the way down the rubber stopper makes it so does not do this without attention to it. Also its bulky and big. Just feels cheap to me. Just my opinion.

I've had mine for 2 weeks now and I love it! Had to superglue the little rubber bumper in, but that was no biggie.

Default I've had mine for a week and a half..

Other then the minor flaw with the latch bumper falling out I really like it. It's easy to manipulate and works as designed. I would recommend it.

WE will release the 7130C holster this week. This holster is basically the same design as 7130e holster except it is custom made for 7130C. The desktop cradle for 7130C is now available.

David, it appears that my sleeper function is not working properly. Any chance of getting a replacement that works properly? Thanks.

I also lost my rubber bumper and contacted David yesterday. All customer service people should be as helpful as him, he was great. That in my opinion is what makes the difference between a good company and a great one.
