I have a 2GB card, but don't really use it, after failing to check before purchase that the Pearl supported AD2P BT headphones. Most days I use my SE w950i (with BBConnect).

I have a 1gb card, about half full w/ 2 movies, a hand full of pics and a play list of music to get me through an hour workout and then some.

Anyway, someone had a link up not too long ago for the 1G micro-SD from Meritline and it's a really good deal. $10.95 SHIPPED and it's a Kingston to boot AND comes with the mini-SD carrier to use with a card reader. Pretty good deal IMO. =)
Found it!

To my knowledge, the card is formatted with FAT16. This means they would need to modify the storage format to allow larger sizes.

I got impatient and went out and bought a 512 for about $30 when I should have waited and ordered a larger and cheaper microSD online. I hate myself...

Default Mdeia Card application

Does any one know of an application we can use to view the media card while on the Pearl? I hate connecting to my laptop to view the files in the directories I created outside of the Music, Pics and the like.

I have a directory for Documents, storing Word files and the like...

Default 1 GB card

I've found the prices are coming down quite a bit lately - picked up mine on eBay for a great deal

I've got the Sandisk 2GB card.

Use it for all my media and ebook storage needs.

I got my pearl in hopes of consolidating my 7290 and mp3 player, and was a little disappointed when i saw that it didnt come with a headphone jack. the rep at the Rogers store told me the jack in the side on the top/left was a stereo headphone jack that was for using with headphones. i guess the $7/hr highschool drop out was just trying to get me to buy it, and would have said it washes my car on the weekend too if it got him the sale.

i found a link in another thread to this site that sells accessories and was thinking of trying one of these:

seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=529]STANDARD AUDIO ADAPTOR FOR 8100/8800 - ADA-BB8100M35FST
or
seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=529]STANDARD AUDIO ADAPTOR FOR 8100/8800 - ADA-BB8100M35FST

i may go to radio shack first and get one if they have it. it may cost more there but at least i can return it if it doesn't work the way i want.
