Ok so I'm from the Uk and am currently on holidays in the US. I've set my data services to off while roaming. In the house that I am staying in I connect to the wifi in order to use Internet browser and BBM and for the past week this has worked fine for me. However today when I connect to the wifi I am only able to use the Internet browser and my BBM has stopped working. Along with that the wifi icon at the top of my screen is grey instead of the usual white. Any suggestions on how I can get my BBM up and running again?
Yeah I tried that, but no luck. The internet has been generally poor today at the house - like really slow. That may be a factor but I'm not too sure. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
If data services is off, then you can't use BBM. BBM requires data. Turn mobile services off, that will turn off the phone and mobile data, but let you use WiFi for those RIM related services.
