Default Vibrate & Ring Question

Please Login to Remove!

Recently new to the BlackBerry Bold and i am really liking the phone alot. As i was looking over and working on getting my ring tones setup and stuff i found that the phone does not ring and vibrate at the same time. It usually just vibrates then rings. Is there a way to get the phone to ring and vibrate at the same time when the phone is getting called?

Any help would be great...

Thanks Alot,

-Andrew

Search the forums for an app called BuzzMe, it's free and does what you need.

"Want your BlackBerry to vibrate and ring at the same timexxx8211;for free? BuzzMe is a new app for just that, and works even on the Storm."

You might have to try both versions.

Nope no way by default so far. What I really want to see is the ability to change vibration sequence like 3 really quick ones or 2 short 1 long etc all within the same time frame of 1 vibrate. ... I want to tell what happened on my BB just by the vibrates.. i dont grab my BB for everything only the important stuff so how the hell can you tell that without audio? only way is to put 1 vibrate for ehhh stuff. 2 vibrates for i should look but i wont and 3 for you better pick it up stupid. but by that time its vibrated 3 times damn it.

is there software to do that yet? I don't care about doing it at the same time as the ring to be honest cause i like the fact that I can just tell by vibrations to ignore it or throw it to my eye.

WHY RIM HAVE YOU NOT DONE THIS YET Thousands of piece of crap phones have this....

The new version of BBLight allows you to adjust the duration of the vibrate as well as the intervals. This is only for phone calls though.

Yeah every thing I have found is 50% of what I need. RIM has closed APIs or a lack of APIs to even program it for the profile setting so the only thing you can do is turn vibrate off and let the program take over the vibrates which is a ass backwards way of doing stuff. and there is no way to tell what profile you have set so if you turn to off... it don't care, the program just vibrates anyways RIM if you are listening or read these you need to open your OS up if you are ever going to be successful with your application store. Closed APIs are useless.....

It is version 0.0.12. just install and that is it - no settings to mess with or anything.
