Odd ... I didn't think they were going down the path to have exams for specific messaging platforms; the exams we took covered all three of them. meh.

If the exam was free I would give it a shot. I figure about 85% of BES is cross platform. According to the Budget Planner pdf the exam cost $150.

I can't pass a test to save my soul. Never have been able to. I can do the work but just can't pass the damn tests.

Naw, they save that for the BES 5 certification, which the BES 5 release will negate your BES 4x certification.

is wes the only place u can take these certs? thats kind of silly if so. i dont want to be taking tests while enjoying the sun down there!

No, just check out your local Prometric site. I'm personally debating on whether to take it at WES or the week after at a local site, where they are scheduling. I would imagine that WES is the first time/place you can take it.

Being from Ohio, I want to soak up some sun while in Orlando, but still tossing around the idea of the cert because it's something I can come back with and show my bosses.

Exactly! I'm booked for Thursday at 4pm so I've been reading, reading and making a "cheat sheet" to memorize vital account names, settings, ports, permissions etc.

What will get me is the quetions about things I don't use in our enviroment. So I'm going to use our lab and build a couple BES from scratch with full MDS services/Collaboration IM etc
