Default 8700G Unlocked/Unbranded

Please Login to Remove!

Just got my black unlocked/unbranded 8700g from our Aussie friend. I put a prepaid tmobile sim card in and it made a phone call, no problem. Then I sync'd it with my Mac using pocket mac with no problem. I am impressed with the overall quality. I think it is overall better quality then my 7250 from verizon. I will be porting my service from verizon over to tmobile in the next couple of day.s
Much thanks to Fai our good friend down under.

Congrats - glad it worked out for you. Especially given the price.

I can't wait until the TMOs are out...only a couple weeks away now! My skins and case are just staring at me daily...reminding me of the wait. Argh.

I will be buying one aswell, but, do the 8700C cases fit the G? I thought they were a bit different?

Depends on which case your talking about, the 8700c plastic OEM holster only fits the 8700c and 8700r, nothing else. The sport/leather ones from RIM im sure work on all 8700s

Thanks for the kind works Marcos. Only too happy to help.

Blame the higher price on the shipping from RIM Canada to Australia and back to the USA Important thing is that for those willing to pay a slight premium for an unlocked one, you have an option available.
