Hey, am the proud owner of a brand new BB curve 8310. Just needed help on a couple of points:

1) How can I transfer my contacts (in the phone memory of my old Nokia 5310) to the BB?
2) I tried connecting the 2 devices through bluetooth. While both phones are now paired with each other, when I tried sending my contacts from the Nokia to the BB, it says it cannot find any bluetooh device switched on.

Can someone please help me with this? Thanks a ton!!

Get the latest desktop manager for blackberry

Then just go with the transfer setup wizard for switching from another fone to blackberry

Unfortunately you can't transfer contacts to any Blackberry over Bluetooth. You must use Nokia PC sync to transfer your contacts to the PC and the use Blackberry Desktop Manager to transfer them to your new Blackberry.

As an aside, where can I download the latest Desktop Manager from? I have got a CD with the Blackberry but am not sure if it has the latest version.

You should find it in www.blackberry.com under the software section. Latest version is 4.6
