My boss says her 8200C will transfer to the handheld only 459 of the 477 or so contact addresses she keeps on her desktop. Is there an upper limit on the number of contacts? Is there a later model that will handle more contacts? Thanks.

No upper limit. I have seen one with 8,000 contacts.

Is she BES or BIS.

Sometimes an odd or NO character in the first, last or company field will kill the transfer.

I'll ditto what JS says. I too suspect something odd in one or more contact entries. I'd be curious to know what you find.
