i am looking for a feature in the GPS that will tell me the exact location i am at in decimal degrees.....is this possible?

can anybody guide me through this?

Try these two apps:

Blackstar

And

CarFinder

If that's all you need then Options->Advanced Options->GPS should do it. Access the menu and choose refresh GPS. If you need features in addition to that you might need an app.

Search for Cacheberry. It's a geocaching program but the compass and location finder is great!
