Hello,

I'd like to ask if some of you've got this application?

I have it on my BB Bold 9000 and i have a little problem.

The GPS point (me) is moving, but the maps stays the same so basically the GPS point (me) is leaving the map.

It would be really nice if it would work as the Google Maps or if it would work as the Trapster for iPhone which is following you on the map.

and also interesting is that the iPhone Trapster is "sending the signal" in the direction you are moving instead of a circuit around you.

It kind of sucks that they make little better applications for iPhones that the BB's

I don't know what to tell you. I tried trapster one time and didn't see that. I did see it with google maps one time a long time ago, but that corrected on it's own.

I guess the only other thing to do is uninstall the app and reinstall.

Have you searched the forum, googled around, see if anyone else has seen it? I assume you have, but have to ask.

When I saw it, it was years ago, not recent. And it was the only time I saw it. I haven't seen it with other apps. When you saw it with the microsoft app, was it with the blackberry you are having the trapster issue now?

it would be really cool if it would work with the google maps or it would be as an addition to google maps.

Where I'm going is if you are seeing this with another mapping/nav app, then it isn't just trapster. I don't have a clue what, but it would seem the fault isn't with the trapster app.

Are using the latest OS for your blackberry? If there is a newer one, you could see what a new OS does for you. But I'm way out on a limb with the speculation.

Hit your menu button and select 'find me'. If you scroll the map, it then stops tracking. You'll have to tell it to 'find me' to put you back in the center of the active map.

I know this is an old thread, but updating Trapster to the latest version will update the "radar" pointing in your direction of travel. However, the map still stops following if you scroll at all. Like the last post says, go to menu and click on "Find Me" and leave it alone to follow you on the map.
