Default Keyboard not working on Tour

Please Login to Remove!

My keyboard and every other button on my Tour just stopped working. I am getting incoming text messages, and the screen lights up when someone calls. I've talked to the insurance company (as it was an insurance replacement) and they are having me bring it to Verizon to have it replaced...

This leaves me with a question.

Via the Desktop manager I can backup my files and I can also use the 'transfer from one phone to another' options. Obviously I won't have both phones at my house, so the transfer from one to another isn't an option

I backed up my files and my text messages succesfuly, my question is, will the new phone accept this backup?

If not, how can I accomplish a transfer of my message.

Thanks

Sure it will be replaced with the new phone. Stop worrying about your data

Initiate the transfer from one BlackBerry to another process -- this backs up BOTH data AND third-party apps. Stop after it prompts you to attach the new device, and swap the device at the store. You will most likely need to manually restore some license keys (3rd-party apps) as well as application configurations.

As long as you backup the phone, you can restore the messages to your new phone that arrived up until the time of the backup. Not a problem
