Yes, here two days installed, faster applications loading and better battery life.
The installation also don't left many programs out, like in the previous versions.

I've been on Willboy v6 now for 10 days now and still running great with no issues.

Willboy v6.1 just came out but is currently for VIP-Only so we'll have to wait till it goes public. WB v6.1 uses 61 out of the 80 OS6 files.

I don't see v6 available for public download. Am I missing something here?

From here, the 6.1 only appears to be for VIP. Everyone still has the old OS.

Am I looking at this wrong?

The 6.1 has been leaked; only for the 9700, so far. Ive got an 8900 and i am waiting...

I laugh at all the VIP's who are the *paying* beta testers; they find the bugs so us non VIPs get the stable releases.

?? really? 5.0.0.743 i find to be faster (though depends on what you are talking about and how you test).
but the stability part? Hybrid is much less stable than .743 clean.
I received emails just as handheld was coming out of boot as it was verifying security etc and then the messaging system crashed. a java whatever exception threw up and I couldn't open any messages. had to reboot again.
Also can't send encrypted mails with smime on hybrid.

This was on WB's 6.1 hybrid.

5.0.0.743 doesn't have these issues.

so for a real answer i'd say its fun and interesting to run some 6.x cods early. But to say its faster and more stable is a statement made with nothing to back it up at all.

I'd say it's a user error if you're having problems with 9700 WB v6.1.

Installed it a few days ago for my Tour.
Snappier. Increased battery time. Boot times seem to be the same.
Overall pleased.

It's been a while since the last official leak for 9000 (.681) ... so I decided to give the Willyboy hybrid a try.
Installed v6 .. so far so good ... didn't notice much difference. (I didn't expect a big difference anyway).

Looking forward to try v6.1 when it become public.
Unless RIM decided to leak another official version for 9000 (something in the .7xx range maybe?!)

v6.1 uses a lot of .734 files as well as .743 , .758 and some 61 OS6 files. It is very fast and has great battery life. Other than that there is noting different from a visual perspective. It is probably one worth keeping until a complete v6 is released or leaked.

I've cobbled together a nice mix of WillyBoy 6.1 and RB 2.2 - which is mostly based on 758 with a fair sprinkling of 5.2.0.9 and 6.0.0.31 files.

I'm definitely liking it. Smooth and stable, but I haven't been running it long enough to have an opinion on battery performance. There is a known issue with javascript not working on the browser - I haven't figured that one out yet (well, I have a very strong hunch which cod file is implicated, but I have a day job and I can't spend even more time reloading the OS every time one file is being goofy).
