Default "D" key on my 8700

Please Login to Remove!

Not sure why after having my 8700 for about a week now I notice the "D" key having a point on it. It's like that's where the plastic injection stopped. Are they all like this? I am still in my 30 day window to get it replaced.

How about so you can dial a phone number by touch? The D is in the middle of the numeric keypad.

Wirelessly posted (8700c: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Mine has it. It also launches the Memo Pad. You can find that and other tips at my site.

This is normal. It is also the "5" key and like almost all mobile phones it has a little "nub" to help you find your way to the center of the number keys in low light

Even cordless home phones do it.

My Vtech has the same little nub on the 5 key.
