THey don't seem to have trial downloads on all the site I checked. Looks like the old windows pocket pc today screen which I liked...though I didn't like anything else about that os.

Looks interesting.

Maybe you should try sending their support team an email for a trial version. Won't hurt/might work.

I actually bought and downloaded it yesterday. They said there is a money back policy if I didn't like it so I gave it a try.

It's very primitive compared to PD. Very little can be customized and the fonts are not configurable. Nice first attempt but it will get deleted today.

I bought it myself. It looks good, but overall, initially impressions are not good. Conceptually, it's pretty good - that tabbed display for appointments and tasks. E-mail is little more than a list of senders and the first few characters of the subject. So far, I'm unable to shell to the built in messanging app from the e-mail section. For that matter, there isn't an easy way to shell to the homescreen to launch an application either besides the ALT-TAB key sequence, that I can see (no Switch Application menu item)

I'll give it a bit more time before I decide to ask for a refund, perhaps I haven't given it enough time yet.

Don

Thanks early adopters. Sounds like I'll pass on this one for now.

I still wouldn't mind trying this out for myself but purchasing it first just to come up with my own conclusion isn't the way to go. This is why trial versions are so important.

Your milege may vary, but I uninstalled after a couple of hours. Memory plumented (something like a meg and a half free) after a couple of hours use. It's probably the news module but.. I can't say for sure.

Pro's - nice summary of the tasks, appointments, call log etc. The tabular display is nice. In fact, it's better than nice. I like it alot.

Cons - limited configuration options. *Possible* high memory usage. NO TRIAL

I may just bite the bullet and purchase this to find out for myself. The tabbed display looks very interesting to me. I have to see it. It's the OCD in me.

I just sent an e-mail to support with a couple of questions - so I'll see how they respond. It is a 1.0 app, so if there is some sign it will be developed a bit, I may hang on to it. It has it's shortcomings, but the tabbed display is defintely unique and interesting - nice way to summarize the info.

I noticed that when it hits 12:00 (AM or PM), the time rolls over to 0:00, 0:01, etc., until it hits 1:00, heh.

I have used e-mibile sports for a while. It mainly just gives headline type blurbs instead of a detailed story. I find it good in the morning just to see what the sports headlines are. The font really is small and they often cut off the ends of words.

Too bad; looked good and the concept was cool. Small and unconfigurable fonts are out for me.

Anyone try the latest version of e-today? I'm wondering if they worked out the fonts/config features and if there is a trial available now?
