still nobody has answered a simple question for me - using berry 411 how does one lookup an address in an area that is NOT part of the address settings under berry 411 "edit settings" page?
For example, if the region is not work, home, or other?

Patience, fkjr2. For instance, if you are traveling, and wanted "Pizza" in an geographic area NOT part of your home, work or other settings, type in "pizza" and say "city, st" (example=Bath, Me) and click yellow pages. Your results will show as normal, business names and addresses, phone.
Phil, this is still the most "must-have" app out there.

Not quite (unless you have a suggestion for exact syntax)... I tried "pizza Canaan NH", and I get different results than when I set "Other" to Canaan, NH using only "pizza" -- I was getting results for Canaan, CT instead of Canaan, NH. What I did find is in the Settings screen is that the application maintains a pull-down menu of recently used addresses for "OTHER" (i.e., "Pick from recent addresses").
Excellent application!

Try this: "davidson, stamford, ct" or "davidson, stamford ct" both work (either returns 9 results, while "davidson stamford, ct" or "davidson stamford ct" return none).
This also appears to be the Yellow Pages solution (i.e., either "pizza, canaan, nh" or "pizza, canaan nh" returns expected results, while "pizza canaan, nh" or "pizza canaan nh" both return none).
Apparently, comma placement is critical...

I downloaded this and i like the speed much faster but i still miss the feature of having the phone numbers show up and just hitting Enter will allow me to call vs clicking the wheel.. can this be brought back???
Also i dont know if its just me but this happens often and its a bit annoying... when i do a simple search for example Wal-mart the results show up using a Home address but the wal-marts that show up are not organized by distance from my Home address... ill get 1.8 then next one will be 0.5 then 6.0 ... why dont they show up organized 0.5 miles away then 1.8 then 6.0???

You can use the classic yellow pages as the default: click trackball: select edit settings: scroll all the way down and select "basic connection(disable network autocomplete and new yellow pages)". This will allow the phone numbers to show up and you'll be able to use the enter button.
As to the second issue regarding arranging the search results by distance, I've noticed this too and have no solution, unfortunately.
I'd also like to thank Phil for this wonderful application! I use it often!!

Regarding sort by distance: it's possible to enable this as an option. However, you wouldn't want to enable it all the time. The current option is sort by relevance. If you strictly sort by distance some of the first hits won't be hits you consider relevant at all.
For example, the first hit for "pizza hut" is not a pizza hut, which is not useful.

air force one- Thanks thats just what i was looking for except i like the network auto-complete just not the new yellow pages..
Phil the search results i get back are all relevant but the distance is not in order.. i get for example 5 results back for Autozone but in random distance ?
Phil also can you make an option to allow the autocomplete and use the Old yellow pages ...
