Question T-Mobile- improved 3G in the last day?

Please Login to Remove!

I noticed that my T-Mobile 3G signal, on my 9700 is much improved in the last day or so. Where I sit in my office, I'm not near any windows or outside walls. It's a large 3 story brick & steel building - not very friendly to cell signals.

Today, at my desk, I'm getting 5 full 3G bars, where as before, I'd get 1-2... sometimes would fluctuate briefly to 4... but not for long... Often would fall back to Edge. I can even maintain the 3G signal with 1-2 bars in the very center of the building, where before even the EDGE signal would drop completely (thanks god for UMA ;) )...

Maybe it's just a local tower that got upgraded... But I have a feeling T-Mo is hard at work doing *something* with their network... seems like late at night, there's a lot of downtime, I'm thinking that's when they would be doing most work to not inconvenience people at the peak times during the day...

Anybody else notice improvement recently in T-Mo's 3G??

Has to do more with your location than the entire network, I suspect.

yeah... you're most likely right... a tower probably got fixed or updated...
