I'm thinking of going for a BlackBerry skin to give a bit of grip/protection for my Bold (not yet arrived).

How do BB skins fit, do they just slip on, and are they removable? Or do they use adhesive?

Or does the Bold have enough grip already, with it's 'leather' back?

I always like a skin on my BB.

They just slip on and off easily, no adhesive.

Are you talking about a rubber skin, like this:



or a decal skin like this:



I have the rubber skin on my Pearl, and like JSanders said, it slips right off, no adhesive. If you get a decal skin, they stick on with an adhesive.

Y, just the rubber skin, like I say mainly for a bit of grip & a bit of protection.

I had eGrips on my Treo but they don't seem to do the Bold yet.

I use a custom skin called Unique Skin. It's a decal but really cool. I'm looking into getting a rubber one though.

the rubber skins from t-mobile for 10 bucks is good. my only beef against that rubbery skin is that it can almost be too rubber or grippy for a lack of better word, when you take em out of your pocket.

I got the skin and a travel charger from my carrier during launch. Extra incentive. I've had the skin on since it was out of the box & it works great, really protects the back & edges. I've the leather pocket, don't really use it cause it doesn't protect the top part of the BOLD.

I got a Blackberry brand Curve skin off eBay for $6.50 with free shipping and I love it! eBay is a great place to find cheap Blackberry accessories.

I love my blackberry skin. If you don't want the protection it slips right off.
