Default bluetooth data question

Please Login to Remove!

I've serached the forums and I think I've found confliciting information.

I have an 8700g on a BES,
I have confirmed with the BES administrator (exchange my mail) that what I am trying to do is allowed by the BES server.

I am trying to connect my 8700g via bluetooth to a TomTom One unit for the plus services.

the TomTom sees my 8700g BUT it tells me that "the required features could not be found for this phone"

I have installed sharkmodem on my 8700g and under services of bluetooth I have "desktop connectivity and wireless bypass"

anybody have any insight into this problem?

I have the same issue with my 7250. I have the latest firmware and I was wondering if the Shark Modem software would let it sinc up with the TomTom 910 or not.

Has *anyone* gotten their BB to connect to a TomTom?

Every so often a BB/BT/TomTom question comes up - I don't recall anyone saying they got it to work!

I am trying to get the TomTom One to work with my bb 8700g, and it always says "the required features could not be found for this phone", this happens for the PLUS services and even if I try to connect it to the handsfree phone option of the TOMTOM which I thought would work, but that doesnt even work.

THe error on the TOMTOM that flashes up is :
Blackberry Desktop Service
P:0x34dae326 R:0x03 v:0x20004

what does that mean?

THanks
