Default Storm phyiscal damage

Please Login to Remove!

I've only had it for 2 weeks but unfortunately the plastic black cover at the top (that covers the LED and speaker) got damaged (badly warpped and dented as a result of something falling on it). Everything works fine but it just "looks" bad with the deformed plastic piece

What are my options for repairing physical damage to my Storm? Any thoughts on how I can get that plastic cover replaced or the phone repaired?

Call VZW and file an insurance claim.

Only, if you have insurance on your acoount with Verizon, though.

Also, you could check online for repuatble vendors who will change the case or sell you a housing replacemnt for you to change yourself.

DON'T call in a insurance claim.......with VZW you only get like 2 a year per account (line) and in my opinion if it works fine, not worth it. I would go w/ a hardbound case for it.Thats way you keep a claim and you still have your storm. Seidio has really nice cases.....you can get on there sight or if you wanna wait a month or so VZW will start selling them at there stores.lol or if your really wanting one now......your local mall sells hardbound cases, down fall is they break when you try to take them off.......hope this helps and welcome to for forums.

Thanks. I actually stopped at the store today where I had bought it and explained to the technician what happened. They actually swapped it out for me!

Great customer service...
