Default can i delete emails from a broken storm?

Please Login to Remove!

My new storm was dropped and is completely nonfunctioning (looks fine, though, which is odd). Since I have confidential work emails on it, I would like to delete them prior to sending it in for repair. Is this possible to do somehow via my server?

Thanks!

Will it even power on?
If not you might be able to use JLCmder to wipe it see the FAQ site

it powered on right after the drop when I charged it. I could get calls and make them if i used the voice activated dialing (so i could only call people in my contacts.) Now it wont even power on. I will try the link, thank you. I only had it since xmas so i am very sad about this! I really loved the storm. Do you think they will replace it or just repair it?

If you dropped it and you don't have insurance on it, they won't do anything except charge you (full retail) for a new one.

If it is within the first 30 days of purchase the retail store where you bought it should simply exchange it right out IF there is no external or physical damage.

i do have insurance. there is a little ding in the upper corner by the lock button, but very minor. i can't believe it was that fragile, the battery cover did pop off, and the sim card was loose, but that was easily adjusted. i guess since the screen didn't crack I thought it would keep working!?

I feel (a little) bad for encouraging you to be dishonest, but I'd run it by a Verizon service center, don't tell them you dropped it, and get it exchanged under warranty. It shouldn't be that fragile in the first place... I've dropped my Curve countless times and never a hitch. I do have a silicone skin on it, though.

I will justify my statement by saying that I work for VZW

Excuse me, HE DROPPED THE PHONE - how the heck can you keep a straight face when you say "it shouldn't be that fragile". I know Verizon is aware that they have more than their fair share of crooks for customers, but I hope they are aware that they also have employees who encourage FRAUD. I really hope for the sake of Verizon that your employment with them is very short lived.

Five years in sales, and a previous two and a half as a technician - yeah, the guy you'd bring your phone to and lie to when you dropped it. I'd warranty it out for him if there was no visible damage.
