Default Blinking Red Light

Please Login to Remove!

Hey, well today while in the middle of updating my black berry and i got a massive error now it will not turn on and has a blinking red light. Also when i try to connect it to my computer it says device not recognized. Any help with this please?

Installation

1. The Application
Loader Wizard window will open

2. Click on Next

3. You will get a drop down list with the COM ports and one USB port entry

4. Select the one which says USB:UNKNOWN

I get nothing like that its just blank.

Read down a little further

Yeah i have done this around 3-4 times and i still have not received anything :|.


Never mind it finally came up.

When it came up it said "The BB Desktop software does not have BB device software for the device i connected to the computer. Any help there??

Also i just found out my product is not 8700v and is infact 8700f there is no download for that product any help??

That's why I said be patient. I've seen it take up to 20 attempts before it connected.

Hmm i got an error when trying to reinstall it all
A fatal error has occurred while updating your device's software. Please try again.

Device communications error encountered. [A:0x00000025]

What step were you on when you got the error?

How long have you had the BB? Where did you get it? Why were you updating it?

I bought it brand new from a shop around my area i got the errors when i was installing all the new applications. The BB is now fixed and running great, i just restarted he App loader a few times. Thanks for your help.
