Default Windows Live Messenger

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys,

I recently installed Windows Live Messenger to my BB 9300 -

This is more of a question and me being pedantic - Does anyone know if its possible for me to manually edit peoples "Display names" , it is greyed out :(.

For example, I see someone's name as "Joe" , I'd like the display name to look "Joe Bloggs"

Any ideas

Nope.
I believe its an MSN limitation. You can change them on the PC version and it will show on the mobile version.

I did not mean to be funny laughing AT someone. It is the irony for me because I am so new. I am far more lost than anyone at this point.

Please be careful what you post. As a new user (and admittedly lost) the forum is a great place to read up on BlackBerrys and learn. Also, please check out BlackBerry FAQ - BlackBerryFAQ

Thanks.

Windows Live Messenger with easy to use, customisable interface that allows you to chat with friends is a piece of cake. The program will record itself when it detects Internet connection or when you start the program themselves. There are several ways to organise your contacts and add new easy.

Doublecheck options within the app and see if there is a setting to keep you logged in always.

Also, it may be automatically logging you off when the handset locks (if you have a password enabled). Yahoo Messenger does that, by design. Don't know if that's the case with WLM or not.
