Default Voicemail problem

Please Login to Remove!

Ok maybe some one can help me. I just upgraded my software for my BB7520 to 4.1 and I am having issues with my voicemail. When I hold and press the voicemail it gives my number plus four or five other numbers after it and then it either says call failed on the screen or it says the number is wrong. So then I tried to just dial my number and the when I press call an extra 2 and 4 come in after my number so it doesn't go through. So then I tries to delete the speed dial and type it in again but it does the same thing. I do not know what is going on with it but it is driving me crazy. So what should I do?

Sounds to me like you should call your carriers tech support dept.

As odd as this may seem, here's what I did for a Nextel 7520:

Deleted speed dial voicemail entry for 1 or W
Cleared the device event log by holding ALT L G L G
Took out the battery, rebooted, and it worked

Every time I tried editing the number through Phone log > Options > Voicemail it would revert back to the wrong number. Deleting the speed dial entry and pulling the battery did not work until I cleared the even log. Clearing the log was the KEY.
