I set up my work email through a non-bes environment. i receive my outlook emails fine (through owa), however when i try and sync my calendar it does not give me the option to do a wireless sync under my calendar properties i'm suck with 'NO' (no change option).
any ideas? i'm wondering if i can get this to work without a bes license... seems like everything is there yet i can't turn on the sync.
The only way to wirelessly sync your calendar is to use BES or a hosted BES environment using an app such as Outlook on your PC. To sync in a BIS environment, you need to use Desktop Manager and the USB cable that came with your device.
One other option is to use Google Calendar and Google Calendar Sync to keep the calendar up-to-date, which is what I use.
I have Outlook on my laptop and BB set to a 2-way sync with Google Calendar. Then I have Google set to a 1 way (Google to PC) to go to my office and home desktop and my spouse's desktop. Works great, other than a couple dupes now and again.
Might I suggest ThinkPost - my service? - we sync contacts/calendar/notes/tasks OTA between your BB / Outlook - you can read the reviews on the BBF Reviews section
