There is some emails that are disappearing once I delete them in my outlook. I am on a BES Sever 4.0 and I have it setup so that it only deletes on my handheld. I am not deleting these message they are simple disappearing after a period of time. I using a 7105t devices from T-Moible.
When you have it set to only delete the messages on your handheld, that is going to prevent messages you delete ON your handheld from being deleted IN our outlook.
There is no way (that I'm aware of) to prevent messages you delete in Outlook to not be deleted on your handheld. And even the settings of "Handheld wins" and "Mailbox wins" only refers to conflicts between specific items. I could be wrong, but those settings don't prevent outlook deleted items from disapearing from the handheld.
Someone else asked a similar question the other day. I posted somewhat of a work around where you set up a specific subfolder and move the messages into there in Outlook. But another thing that might work (which was a troublesome issue when we first deployed to the BES) was when messages got moved into a local folder tied directly to the PC (not the network). The handheld doesn't see items not directly inside your network profile. The messages could then be deleted. Might at least be worth a try.
I'm having the reverse problem, I want the emails to disappear from the handheld if I've deleted them from my Outlook inbox....I have my reconciliation setting "Delete On: Mailbox & Handheld". I also want the result that if I delete an email on my 7100g then it should disappear from my inbox. This isn't happening either.
I am using wireless sync, and it seems to be fine for the calendar, i.e. if I create a calendar in Outlook it shows up on my handheld.
