Question Remove BIS Service Books

Please Login to Remove!

Hey, I activated my hosted BES service from work and don't want to wipe my Blackberry since I cannot back it up or connect it to a computer while there. So, what I did was activate the service, then use the setup program to register with my new BES server, and that worked fine ( received new service books, etc ). However, I probably have some BIS-related service books still on my device, so I would like to manually remove them.

Google hasn't helped me so far in discovering the names of BIS service books, or any other service books you would want to remove when using BES sych services.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction? I have OS 4.2 on BB Pearl, my host is The Message Center.

Thanks,

JohnG

Go to options> Advanced> Service Book then delete @google.com[cical] and [cmime] that should take care of it.

And you can also delet the email off the BIS site when you get to a computer.

Thanks. I can get to a computer, I am just not allowed to connect my personal BB to it. FYI, it looks like when I deleted GMAIL from my BIS server, it removed the service books, too. I still have blackberry.net service books, whichi I will reload.

Also, should I delete the Desktop CCAL and CMIME books? I am going to uninstalled and reinstall BB Desktop Manager tonight, and select "BES" during the setup process afterwards. You guys think that will be enough to be completed switched over?
