Um, soon. Or, quite possibly later. My bet is somewhere in between.

I'm a "gotta have it now" kind of guy, but I never paid that much! Man, you got it bad, huh? I'm almost to that point with the 8300 but my Pearl is keeping me sane. For now.

yup

i use to be like that...i paid 2k for a Star Tac....the original LCD screen model,

one of the first in Canada then, or so i was told.

now i dont really care unless its a super device and the pearl or 8800 didnt do it for me...the cam, wifi, gps model might....but then i will want the 3g model which will come 3-6 months after that....

i waited for the color 7230...then 7290....the big jump was the 8700...next stop 3G

Have you tried the cingy PTT on the BB? It's no Nextel, but it's not bad.

It may have worked well for you but we had them remove PTT after only a few days because it was so bad. We would let go of the button and it would still be stuck in PTT and would have to turn the phone off to get it to stop. My company used Nextel and we loved it but it did not have the coverage when we left the beaten path. We voted for coverage and left PTT behind. Maybe they will improve it but Nextel's PTT was simply outstanding

Beatback,
Somehow I knew you would have another comment. Remember that $3k is not worth the same to everyone and you are showing your "size" with this comment!

And you need to own swampland before you could sell it! <vbg>
