I'm a rookie, I admit it. How do I download music to my BB? Do I just sign up on a website (like Napster?) and go from there? Does it automatically recognize my BB or do I download to my computer first. Clueless in Cleveland....

You can use any MP3 you have or have downloaded. If you have a memory card, just use mass storage mode and drag and drop the music onto the card.

connect blackberry to computer using USB cable that came with it. Go to "my computer" on your desktop. Click the blackberry one. Drag and drop your songs.

Rar and zip files don't work on the BlackBerry. I personally don't recommend downloading from rapidshare and megaupload because often the content is illegally pirated material and there is a risk of viruses.

The best way to get mp3s on your BlackBerry is to copy them from your PC. If you have cds or songs you've downloaded to your PC you can easily put them on your device.
