Default Exchange - POP - BES Duplicate emails

Please Login to Remove!

My company uses Exchange and a BES server which I use for business mail. Then I just pop my personal email accounts into Outlook. The problem is, I get a copy of the email from my pop account to my BB and then I get a copy coming from the exchange server. Don't want those pop emails coming in from the exchange server to my bb. Isn't this a email delivery issue? How do I stop the duplicates?

I could stop the BIS server from sending emails to BB, but then I have to worry about what email I use for responding.

As always, thanks for sharing the knowledge.

SGM

Try setting up a filter on your BES account that basically says:
When To: field = your POP address, Do Not Forward to handheld.

Default admin

My administrator would have to do that, correct? Want to keep him out of the loop if possible.

Thanks

No, you can set up your own filters.
You can use the device itself, or BlackBerry Desktop Manager if you have it installed.

Default Guess I am a little slow

If the email gets to Outlook it is going to get pulled into exchange correct and then I'll still get a duplicate. Is there a way to stop it within outlook and how those emails are managed in outlook. PST vs. OST or something like that.

Think I fixed it. My personal email was going to the OST instead of the PST. Routed to my personal mailbox and problem resolved. Have to go to two place for email in outlook but now the duplicates have stopped.
