Was not the most balanced and objective study that I have ever seen. Will probably use the data much like a drunk uses a lamp post.

and its difficult to do a PDA study when you focus on 2 PDAs. Where are the symbian questions! they should be more than Apple questions IMO, Symbian PDAs are the second most popular PDAs in the world

And obviously some business research group or a student working on some project at ND put that survey together. You can tell from their final questions they are working on some project to market iPhones to business, or some business model for class, etc.

I'm pretty sure you are correct Mr. Sanders. Hopefully their professor (I'm assuming it was a student who put it together) will give him/her a good critique regarding the objectivity of the questions, comprehensive sets of response options, etc., etc.

Sometime I should tell some stories about the research designs created by my former graduate students in LALA land.

I am sitting here today writing an in-depth 20-30 min telephone survey for a client. It has to be done in such a way no one would ever know the source of the call (the client) or for the respondent to detect the "intended" direction the survey is headed.

That's a long survey on the phone -- hopefully your drop-off rate won't be too extreme.
