Default Files Saved With GMT Time

Please Login to Remove!

I have an .XLS file on my Classic located on the microSD card and when I save a file and then look at that microSD card on my PC, the time stamp for the file save is GMT time. Is this normal? Shouldn't it time stamp the local time and date from the phone? I saved it at 9:21PM on 8/10/15 (EDT) but the time stamp was 1:21AM on 8/11/15 on the PC. What's even stranger is that the phone time stamp says 5:21PM on 8/10/15 which is four hours earlier.

you need to set the time zone on the phone. Check options.

It is. I'd post an image from my phone but it doesn't appear that this site will host images (only links to an external URL for images). Basically it says Eastern, prompt on auto update time zone, 24 hour off, set date and time auto.

Not sure why the save time on the PC and the phone don't match the actual time saved. Neither are right.

Try setting the time zone and time. There are issues with the time setting on some OS10 releases.

As for the Pc, you can try manually setting that also. Time slip can happen on some PC.
