On Wednesday I was able to accept Outlook meeting invites. I would click on the email and I would be given the option to accept, decline etc...

As of Friday When I get an Outlook meeting invite it comes through as a plain email. At the top of the email it will say [attatchment] but I can't open it with the menu and I'm not given any options to accept or decline.

I haven't installed any software since Wednesday nor made any changes that I can think of.

I called AT&T customer service (quick and professional) who put me on with RIM customer service initial contact person was also efficient and professional and she transfered me to tech support. After listening to the on-hold music for 1 hour 32 minutes on my speaker phone, my phone's battery died. I didn't call back though I have a ticket number.

Any suggestions on my Outlook meeting invite problem?

Have you resent service books?

If that didn't work delete both service books for the affected accounts and resend.

I just resent the service books. I'll be able to test if it worked tomorrow.

As a workaround, you will need to delete the .$
.Cal service books you don't use. Preferably keeping only one in your device, so there will be no issue as to which is the default

Simply resending the service books worked. I can once again accept meeting invites. Thanks for the advice.

So now my questions are...

Any idea what caused the problem in the first place? Did I do something to corrupt my service books?

Should I expect to have to resend my service books on a regular basis?

Each function (email, calendar, etc) require service books to operate. In BIS, there is a link to send the service books to your BB device.
