Default Desktop Manager Intellisync Error...Help!

Please Login to Remove!

All of a sudden I'm having an error message when I try to sync with Desktop Manager that says "Connector Specific Error." It looks like it's happening when it tries to sync my Calendar because that's when it stops and gives me the error msg. This happened with both Desktop Mgr V 4.2 and the new 4.3.
I think it's something in the phone because it doesn't happen with my wife's 8310.

Wirelessly posted (8320 Curve: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Hmmm. That's a weird issue. I would call ur providor or RIM and see if they know anything.

Pull the battery. I've had one or two 8100s do this and just with the calendar when they sync with DM. A battery pull fixes it. Happens very rarely and I just haven't tried to track it down. If that doesn't fix it, you'll have to turn on logging for the sync and then take a peek at the logs to see if it's a certain appointment that's causing this. Usually though, errors caused by Outlook data like this tend to happen in Contacts more then anything else. Give it a try.

Thanks for the replies. This site is really a great help. However, none of the above suggestions worked, including the battery pull. I called at&t support and they connected me with RIM support. RIM had me to go into the Desktop Manager and delete all my calendar entries since that's where the problem with the sync seemed to be. After I deleted all the entries and synced again, everything was fine. I re-synced and I'm back to normal. I'm not sure what entry caused this issue, but I'm glad it's resolved.

Thanks again to those of you that responded.

I have the exact problem when syncing my calendar. Thanks for posting the solution. I will try it too.

Thank you.
