Using the Verizon supplied holster and phone in Vibrate mode, I find that the vibrate is not strong enough to feel. Anyone else experiencing this?

I agree, but it does seem to help if you can get the belt clip over your pants. Just clipped to your belt makes it less noticable. Not nearly as strong of a vibrate as my old 7520.

But does anyone know if the intensity of vibration can be changed? I did have my phone over my belt/pant and still missed several calls.

I keep mine in between my legs on my seat while I am driving so when it vibrates i feel it. (just so I dont miss a call perverts ) But however, I still miss messages and stuff Go figure?!

Yeah I know all these devices meet the FCC's SAR requirement... but just in case there's a conspiracy... I'm not taking any chances like this.

no, it vibrates first, then gives me 1 tone... it's good for when i have it on the car seat next to me, or in a meeting and i have it on the table etc.
