Media Folder Scroll Problem

Hey guys, I just recently received my replacement Pearl with v4.2.71 (Platform 2.2.0.41) and the ALT+ Scroll works everywhere except my media card folder when it use to work in there. I really don't care to upgrade to a new OS at the moment. Is there another reason it wouldn't work anymore? I tried ^aA button also and it didn't work. thanks in advance
