Online all the Verizon Blackberry's are gone(bold/curve). I just saw the new BOLD is available today for $249 upgrade. Does anybody know if there are any other models coming up soon, my son has a upgrade, but the BOLD I think is to much for his needs, and my wallet.

The 9850 should be out shortly. There is also a new Curve model coming any day now.

rambo, I have seen nothing tangible about Verizon getting the 9850, have you?
Neither Verizon nor RIM have mentioned the 9850 on Verizon, even in RIM's release announcement of the 9850 they only referred to Sprint in the US getting the 9850.

Ya know, you're right! It would be odd though for Sprint to get it and for Verizon not to get it though. But as of right now there is still no confirmation that Verizon will have the 9850. My bad.

And just to update this thread, Verizon did indeed launch the 9850, although somewhat quietly... I have mine inhand now. VERY nice device.

They will be in stores on Sept 15, and available order online or by phone now.
