When sending a message in verichat with my 7100t...I receive a phone call...the PDA locks up with an hourglass for a minute it seems and the reboots itself.
This lovely little problem has been happening all over the place for me. Luckily though, most of the time it's right in the middle of an important phone call .
I know I'm not the only one with this problem. Has there not been a solution or is it one of those things that I have to live with right now. Does it make a difference if I was on 4.0 OS versus 3.8?
yes, it makes a difference, I never had the issue on 3.8, but I have to have the functionality of 4.0, I talked to TMO yesterday about the issues I'm having, and my 4th, that's right, 4th replacement phone is in the mail. I told them that this is a bigger issue, and they asked me to email them links from this forum. Hopefully it will do some good.

Just upgraded to 4.0.198 (tmobile 7100t) and the problem seems to have dissapeared....so far anyways. I'll update later if I have it happen again. In the meantime, this is appearently a widespread problem and I know we have some RIM employees on the forums here so maybe one of them can let us know if RIM is even aware of the problem and the sheer number of people experiencing it.
