Wink Who's running they're Bold naked?

Please Login to Remove!

I have always ran my BB's naked. But after reading BG's review and the risk of the screen being more scratch prone, I decided to put a screen protector on. I have been thinking of taking it off and was wondering if anyone has been rocking theirs naked as well and if there is truth to BG's statement. Thoughts?

I run my Bold with screen protector (as I have with all my Berrys), and no case or skin.

Mine's been running in the buff since day one. I've had it for over a month now and no dents or scratches yet... *knock on wood*

IMO, the durability is excellent. However, I keep it in a single pocket and make sure that I don't keep any change or keys in it.

Naked all the way. That's the way the designers intended it to look.

I'm ashamed, but I'm running naked...I have 3 skins, I just hate how thick the phone feels with one on it and it makes it look butt ugly.

Me too. I generally keep it in the pouch - so even if its in my trouser pocket with coins, its pretty safe. I prefer the pouch to skins etc.. because it looks better when you use it and also it switches off the screen. I've found the battery life worse when using a skin as the screen is always coming on in my pocket.

I do like the leather back also - as it means you don't have to worry about the back getting scratched on rough surfaces etc.... this was on of the things I didn't like with the iPhone (in the 4 days I had one!!)

Naked, but I have to mention that I dropped it once in my car, it hit a very sharp plastic edge (somewhere around the handbrake) and since then I have a small paint chip in the upper left corner, on the metal-like bezel
That's why I had to order an OEM bezel from cnn.cn. Nevertheless, I intend to keep it naked in the future as well.

Naked all the way for me too. I very rarely have a problem with it, except in the local supermarket. Most people are very understanding.

I am running it 'naked' but use the case. Looks more cool and the 'in the holster'/'out the holster' features are handy.

Naked with a screen protector. Though I did drop it :( Luckily, just a couple small scratches at the bottom.

When I get mine, it too will be naked as the day we're all born. I've never had an issue with dropping a blackberry and my Bold will be #3

Naked as well. Never liked skins, just don't like how the phones feel (and look) with them. I just use holsters... I prefer scratches to skins :D
