Pehaps I was using the wrong term (SYNC), I should have used reconcile.

About email reconciliation
Email reconciliation means that any message you file or delete on your handheld will also be filed or deleted in your mailbox. Likewise, any changes that you make to messages in your mailbox are reflected on your handheld.
This to me is a little miss leading, as no where does it say you need BES to accomplish this. What I really want to do is have my Outlook emails from my desktop filed in my handheld when connected to the craddle. My blackberry is connected to the craddle all day, and the redirector will not push any emails to the handheld while in the craddle. During the day I use primarily my Oultook, so my handheld never has any of my new or deleted messages.
What are my options for getting my outlook and handheld reconciled (wihtout purchasing BES? For instance, I have an email with a file, I need to email it to my Web Client (Desktop redirector will not push emails with attachments) in order for it to get to my blackberry, and doing so uses up much of my data plans MB limit.
And please don't get upset, I'm new and just looking for a little help. I thought that's what these forums were all about.
