I got my sandisk 2gb card with adapter for $16.00 shipped from Buy.com, it took a month, but it was worth the wait.

I doubt it, but no one really knows since I haven't seen one on the market yet.

I'm sure all it will take to get them working is a OS update.

I just ordered this. It was 23.81 with taxes (TN), free shipping (7-9 business days), and my Google Checkout discount. The $9 rebate will take it down to $14. Thanks for posting this. I've been looking for a cheap 2GB card. I have a Kingston 1GB and it's been good to me so far.

Is it an SDHC card, or not? I have been searching everywhere and can't find out whether or not the 8830 supports SDHC cards.

i just recently bought mine at best buy... 19.99 for a 1gb. not the cheapest you can find but i didn't feel like waiting for it to be shipped from ebay/newegg etc... not a bad deal. they were originally selling it for 29.99 but target had it for 19.99 so they price matched that *****
