I've had my 8830 for a few days now and am in love with it. I use the BB Dimension Today theme so I can see messages and calendar events on the main screen. The other night my wife sent me a few SMS messages. I have deleted all of them but one of them refuses to go away underneath "Messages" on the main screen. I have clicked on it and deleted many times, but it doesn't disappear (other messages do). If I click on the "Messages" header, it says "*No Messages*", but still my main screen shows this message, now a couple days old. Any thoughts?

This is a bug which has been discussed to death. Pull the battery and you'll be fine is what a search will tell you.

Yes, that did the trick, thank you. Sorry if this was a repeat. I'm new to this forum. I did some basic searches without success. Searching isn't particularly easy since you have to reenter a new security word each time. Is there a specific usage pattern that causes this bug? I have only had this problem with one message.

I have also found that changing to a new theme, then back to the Dimension Today theme seems to clear the "stuck" message indication...

Changing the theme back and forth didn't seem to have any effect unfortunately.

I too use BBToday theme and like it for the calendar display items. I also have this message clearing problem. One thing I do to fix it, is to go to the top of the mssages list in the general mailbox that catches all and select options and choose "mark prior opened"
It always works to clear the list from the BBToday screen. Never fails me.
