Angry Backlight not working?!?

Please Login to Remove!

I am having an issue with the backlight not turning off on the 7100. This is a replacement phone that I have just recieved two days ago, and I just realized that the LCD remains lit at all times. This definately affects my battery, and I was wondering how I can fix this.

I already tried to adjust the timer to 10 seconds, but it remains on after that.

Should I call T-Mobile and request another phone, reset the unit, etc.?

Mine did that once. I removed the battery, counted to ten, put it back in, and it went away.
