Default Curve just randomly vibrates!

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, it's driving me nuts! Every once in a while my curve vibrates like I have an email, text or IM but when I check, nothing! Anyone else experience this, I know the problem is vague but I've gone through all my apps and none of them "need my attention" so to speek.

I get phantom vibrating all the time, even when I don't have my phone on me. It's kind of freaky!

No, it's really vibrating. About every 60 - 90 minutes.

Do you have WeatherBug installed? Mine vibrates when there is severe weather, but you could have it set for other alerts. Just a thought. I know when mine vibrates it doesn't give an indication of what it is alerting me about until I check the WB icon and it is red. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I get the phantom vibrations, but I also have the opposite effect, where I'll shrug off an actual text alert as just the case shifting.

Does anyone get these "phantom vibrations" when all vibrating options are off?

Chances are that you have some sort of profile set up that you don't realize. I had the same thing except for it was my LED going off for no reason. Then I realized that I had the gmail app running in the back ground and that was the reason for the LED. Check your profiles and I'm sure you have something running in the backgroud that you don' realize thats setting off the vibration.

do you have todo matrix installed? if you do what happens is its sends and recieves emails to tell the app and server to synch... and sometimes the device will register this and vibrate but then delete the email
