The only thing I don't like about this holster is that I ordered a bunch of them before the discount.

Has anyone received shipment notification on their 87g holsters? The estimate for initial shipments was yesterday and today.

I haven't recieved a shipment notice yet and their website still shows that my order is "in progress" - Since it's been showing "in progress" for a few days I'm assuming that means it still hasen't shipped.

I got that same email too. I put my order in soon after it was first posted on their website. Could there really have been that many customers that ordered before I did? As I recall, others on this board, like tfaz1, ordered very early on as well.

Has anyone received an email that their order has actually shipped?

Oh well, I'm not in that huge of a rush. I'll just keep my BlackBerry in my pocket in the meantime. Besides, the vibrations are more enjoyable that way.

Is it on backorder then? I want to order it and take advantage of the discount, but don't want to order a case that I don't know when i'll receive. What does the rep on these boards have to say?

And whoever said it was cheap shipping, am I missing something? Standard priority/first class is $8.50? I shipped my Razr, in the original box and all accessories with delivery confirmation and insurance for like $6.50, so $8.50 clearly is not cheap. This thing shouldn't ship in anything more than plastic sleeve in a little box with some bubble rap, AT THE MOST.

I received the backorder e-mail also. I chose parcel post as my shipping to reduce costs. To me here in NY the cost was about $5.50.

Well, i'm cancelling my order.

If they charged my credit card (which they did) they should have shipped right away. I ordered before the discount was even posted too.

I got the email also. That is disappointing. I usually ask if something is in stock before I order but I assumed it was because of the special. Should of checked I guess.

I normally wouldn't be impatient but I don't have a case for my new 8700g (except for the terrible hard case that came with it that I won't use) and I'm concerned it's going to fall out of my pocket.

I'd agree with you. But I've called Seidio's number on their website and left voicemail and had no reply. I've sent emails to them and had no reply. I've sent "internal" email to them through the order login screen and had no reply.

So I'm getting a little frustrated, frankly, and since my card has already been charged and David has my money, I expect a response. I don't think that's unreasonable at all.
