So you can use GPS products beyond the Verizon product?

As I make my way through testing the various gps programs I have about 8 on my Verizon 8830 using a SEPARATE GPS PUCK. Some are similar and some provide different functions. So, YES, the verizon 8830, at least, can use 3rd party gps programs with an external puck. I should add that some of them can run at the same time and others appear to dominate the puck/data or bluetooth connection and will not run at the same time.
Since my phone just came on (7am), I will list what I've got:
Mapquest Navigator (old version)
Google Maps
BBMaps
Nav4all
GPSED
Navizon
bbTracker
Trekbuddy
MobileTracker
CoPilot
Traffic Vizzion
Yahoo OneSearch
Beyond411
InfoSpace Find it
(some, the last 3, might not be actual gps programs but I consider them locators)
