[problem]

I have a 9300 curve and the phone is only about 2 weeks old.
I even went as far to switch all connections off i.e BIS , WIFI , Bluetooth as well as there are no applications running. I only switch BIS on for about an hour at night and that's it.
The battery life only lasts for about 1.5 days.
If BIS is on the battery only lasts about 10hrs.

So basically i use to make and receive calls.
Considering sending it back to supplier to send as repairs, Will it help when it comes back?
Is the battery faulty or is this normal?

Sounds great to me. Smartphones/BBs use more power than ordinary cell phones. 3G devices use more than standard EDGE devices. From what I have read, BIS doesn't actually consume that much power since email is pushed.

Actually, you should always keep the battery topped off and never let it get below 20%. Getting lower can damage the battery and possibly the device itself.

Why are you so averse to keeping it on all day and charging at night?

perfectly normal. i have a 9300 and its been with me for about 6 months now and it last for about a day more or less with normal use of BIS and calls.... no need to send it for repair...
