Default Randomly Muting During Conversations

Please Login to Remove!

I recently go an 8310 Curve. Everything is working fine... but recently when I've been talking on my phone, the phone will randomly mute and unmute. It happens really quickly and it doesn't really interrupt the conversation, but it is really really annoying.

Has anybody has this problem before? How would I fix it?

You using a wired earpiece? Flaky wiring or a bad fit on the connector can cause that. Happened to me with multiple Seidio 3.5mm->2.5mm adapters.

It didn't occur to me.. but it started to happen immediately after I used the earpiece that came with it. I don't use the ear piece, but I still have the problem.

Any more advice?

Not if it happens without the earpiece plugged in, no.

Call AT&T and have 'em swap it out.

Wirelessly posted

I was able to fix this problem. I simply plugged the headset in and removed it a couple times. When I made calls after that everything was fine. Thanks for the suggestion!
